Doubletree at San Pedro is a great wedding venue for couples looking for a luxurious waterside celebration in California. A backdrop of the Los Angeles Harbour, Cabrillo Marina or the beach for your ceremony is enhanced by an upbeat wedding reception in a grand ballroom overlooking the ocean.
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Pedro - Port of Los Angeles is near the airport, making it great for guests flying in from afar. For big destination weddings with up to 500 guests, it is wonderful. Or, if you are planning an intimate wedding with your closest friends and family, you can be assured of the best experience for you and your loved ones as you celebrate your love story.

The chic urban-vibes hotel has over 200 modern and comfortable rooms, along with the signature Hilton brand service that is recognized worldwide (and it's even pet-friendly if your pooch wants to join in the fun). For weddings, the in-house event team is always on the ball with full bridal services, including stylish florals, catering, entertainment and more. If you want something special like a trendy doughnut wall or chocolate fountain, which photographers like me love for the photo opportunity, as well as something your guests will love, they are happy to arrange it. Although having an independent wedding planner is always wonderful, you could manage without one at the DoubleTree by Hilton since their services are so good.
As for the wedding photography, this hotel has plenty of options that are romantic and beautiful. There is something so dreamy about being near the water and a first look at the pier with the expensive boats bobbing in the background is a memorable moment before the ceremony. The gardens are in full bloom for spring and summer weddings, adding some lovely pops of color to your wedding album.
DoubleTree is a place to relax as you get into wedding mode. Take a dip in the outdoor pool with whirlpool, indulge in delicious meals at the 2800 Kitchen and Lounge or order room service, have a last-minute workout in the gym or wander around the gorgeous property soaking up the blissful atmosphere. Your wedding package also includes waterfront accommodation, so it's the perfect place to unwind before the wedding festivities begin.
Another reason couples gravitate towards getting married at DoubleTree is because the San Pedro area has plenty to see and do. You can visit the scenic beaches, go hiking in the White Point Nature Reserve, explore Wilders Addition Park, see the Korean Friendship Bell and get photos at The Point Fermin Lighthouse. Then there are plenty of museums, historic sites, bars, restaurants and shops to check out. Your guests can be fully entertained before and after the wedding day if they are coming from out of town.
DoubleTree welcomes all kinds of weddings, including elopements, small weddings, cultural weddings, civil unions, religious and non-religious ceremonies and vow renewals. So if you are planning a wedding or celebration of love of any kind at the DoubleTree in San Pedro, drop me a line so we can chat about photography and videography. I can't wait to hear from you!
